At the foot of the Mont-Dauphin rock, near the chapel of St Guillaume, a plaster manufacturing "factory" stood from the beginning of the century until 1932. The plaster was made from gypsum taken from Réotier. The essential masonry materials of the time, plaster and lime, were processed here in kilns. Today, the plaster factory has disappeared and farming, already a feature of the last century, has become the main economic activity.
