Village presentation

After the winding ascent to the village, Ceillac awaits you, nestled in the mountains. Even if a thousand hikes  lead you to the two most popular lakes, Sainte-Anne and Mirror Lakes other gems and sensations also await you. Head’up! Paragliders fly in the sky and you’re tempted to join them… In winter, “ceillacool” downhill skiing will make you slide with pleasure! Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are also available in Nordic style, with trails on the plateau and more sporty slopes. Under the Font Sancte’s eye (3,385 meters above sea level, the highest peak in the Queyras), Ceillac is one of the starting points for the Tour du Queyras – GR58 and the Font Sancte.

The downhill ski area

You’ll be drawn into a high-mountain atmosphere! With its steep slopes, rolling terrain, wooded areas, open spaces and well-maintained runs, the Ceillac ski area offers you a magnificent skiing and snowboarding terrain, with exceptional snow conditions all season thanks to the ubac exposure of the slopes!

What if your kids worked remotely?

It’s tempting to enjoy a snow vacation outside of school holidays without losing track of school work? Well, we say it’s possible, thanks to the “cartable à la neige” program. Children benefit from ski lessons in the mornings and personalized tutoring in the afternoons.
