Description
You’ll have the opportunity to spend a morning meeting forestry professionals and discovering all aspects of forestry careers: forest management, conservation, and harvesting.
A morning spent learning about the management and harvesting of Alpine forests during a visit to an active logging site in the Château-Ville-Vieille communal forest. An opportunity to meet the men and women who work in the forests and ensure the preservation of these natural areas while harvesting wood, a sustainable and essential resource for the region. You’ll have the opportunity to watch demonstrations of tree felling and gain an understanding of the challenges of mountain forestry.
Suitable for all ages / Children are permitted when accompanied by an adult.
