Today’s schedule: 10 a.m.: Start of the transhumance 10:30 a.m.: Baking bread in the communal oven 11:30 a.m.: Bread sale (fresh out of the oven) 12 p.m.: Barbecue begins at Place de l’Église 4:00 p.m.: Fire pump demonstration at the Châtelet fountain 5:00 p.m.: “Soupe des Escartons” served by Jo’ behind the Gabelous (follow the signs) 7:00 p.m.: Concert featuring period instruments by the Compagnie Sensible at the church And all day long : exhibition of traditional costumes; Pépé’s blacksmith shop; accordion exhibition and violin restoration demonstration; lace-making demonstration and workshop; educational farm; music and singing throughout the village; smugglers… and much more to discover!
