Description
What if fairytale heroes had had bicycles? That's the question being asked by Ernestine and Gigote, two whimsical siblings from a colorful lineage. Through their expeditions on wheels, they revisit the great classics.
From the Tour de France to the Galibier, via Paris-Roubaix and the Tourmalet, their adventures combine cycling performances and imaginary detours. Cinderella, Goldilocks, Sleeping Beauty and Red Riding Hood take an unexpected turn, between patches, handlebars and horns.
In a vintage scenography, Cloé Laurendeau and Amélie Piat take turns embodying the Frangines and a gallery of revisited characters. Live music (vocals, guitar, ukulele, looper), burlesque, bike acrobatics, object manipulation and scenic installations punctuate this abundant show.
The audience is not left out, and joins in the adventure too, in a joyful, offbeat atmosphere. One thing's for sure: sitting in the saddle, life suddenly seems so much more beautiful!
