Set sail on a wild theatrical adventure with Captain Barbepeste! An improbable shipwreck, a whimsical crew and explosive situations follow one another in a pantomime full of humor, between rough seas and gentle madness.
Before becoming a pirate, Captain Barbepeste flirted with the stage... and it shows! Taking advantage of his crew's strong taste for pantomime, he imagined and staged the incredible story of one of his many shipwrecks.
On the program: a raft taking on water (obviously), a captain determined to savor his last cigar, a mute but frankly mutinous sailor, a somewhat upset wife and a cook convinced that the bow and stern are species of fish...
A gallery of colorful characters for a story as absurd as it is jubilant, where situations get out of hand and misunderstandings pile up. A blend of gestural theater, offbeat humor and pirate spirit, the show promises a lively and deliciously explosive voyage!
