Description

The sundial was the means to read the time in a country where the sun shines 300 days a year!
Many of the dials were painted by Giovanni Francesco Zarbula in the second half of the 19th century. Over the last few decades, Remi Potey has restored some of them and created others. Most of them bear a motto, either in Latin, French or dialect. They can be found in the various hamlets of Molines, on both religious buildings and private homes.
