At Pilou, you'll find a family-run institution ready to serve you with a smile! Adjacent to the campground and facing the slopes, the restaurant offers a variety of mountain-style dishes, all made with locally sourced ingredients.
Pilou is a local legend. He’s definitely worth getting to know, and his restaurant is a welcoming spot where you’ll find a warm atmosphere and delicious dishes made with local ingredients. You can’t miss this restaurant—it’s located at the base of the downhill ski runs, at the start of the cross-country ski trails, and almost right on the GR58 trail, just outside the village.
Seasonal workers and tourists gather here to share the daily special, a delicious Queyras-style raclette, or simply to have a drink after a day of work, skiing, or hiking.
In the summer, there’s always a game of pétanque going on.
In winter, it’s the place to come and warm up after a day of skiing.
Dinner requires a reservation, but we recommend it. It’s definitely best to book ahead, as Chez Pilou’s reputation speaks for itself and the restaurant can fill up quickly!
