From Saint-Véran you follow the piste to the chapel of Clausis from where evident tracks will lead you all the way to the refuge. You will get to know the friendly guardian assuring conviviality, environmental respect, and comfort (beds with quilts). The terrace offers a splendid view over the summits of the Ecrins National park as Pelvoux and Ailefroide.
