Refuge Agnel

Whether you're a hiker, cyclist, visitor or skier, you'll find it hard to resist a blueberry tart or a friand du Col, with a local beer or drink, on the magnificent sunny terrace! Please note: We are energy self-sufficient, and we ask you to be too! We don't charge phones, watches, cameras... Remember to bring an external battery or solar charger! A good plan for bivouac enthusiasts! You can pitch your tent on the refuge grounds, with a superb view of the Ecrins massif, and book a "camper" package with the refuge, including shower, evening meal and breakfast. Additional welcome: Overnight accommodation and catering on request. Vertical drop: 600 m from parking lot. Winter access from Pont de Lariane (cross-country ski trail) elevation gain: 550m 2h. Possibility of opening on New Year's Eve (booking required) and outside opening times for large groups. Winter opening and closing dates may be subject to change due to weather conditions. It is advisable to phone before going up, and to be accompanied by a guide or mountain leader. Picnic baskets available on request. No smoking. Refuge Agnel: winter section open out of season but not heated, no water or gas, blankets available.
