A sporting and mountain welcome! The gîte is ideally located on the Tour du Queyras, and at the start of the Viso, Pelvas, Bric Bouchet and Pain de Sucre tours.

L'Echalp, the last hamlet in the Guil Valley accessible by road before the Viso National Reserve. 7° Est is an authentic, tastefully restored former farmhouse where the rooms and dormitories are comfortable and feature private bathrooms. What a pleasure, after a dinner featuring the unique flavors of the Haut Guil Valley, to gather around the fireplace to relive your wonderful day of hiking and share a friendly moment with the hosts! Have you tried Queyras herbal tea? The flavor of the wild herbs won’t disappoint you! Whether you come alone, with family, or with a group of friends, Laurent will be happy to host you. He knows every nook and cranny of the mountains and can share some of their secrets with you. From there, with the right footwear, you can set out in the summer to hike up toward the Tête du Pelvas. You won’t be disappointed by the natural scenery in the area! In the winter, the place is closed—but that’s so we can welcome you even better when the warm weather returns!
