Weekend ski touring with night in lavvu tent

We will leave in skins in one of our favorite places of the Queyras, as for an expedition but with light bags. Once we arrive at the bivouac site at the bottom of a beautiful valley, we will set up our big Lavvu tepee with its wood stove. We will take advantage of the afternoon to gain one of the summits which dominate the cirque and finish by a beautiful descent on our base camp. After a shared evening around the stove, the night will be sweet in the heart of the mountain.

The possibilities for the next day's hike from the bivouac are numerous depending on the desires and level of each person. This weekend can also be an opportunity to learn about the practice and safety of ski touring.

Equipment to bring : Complete ski touring equipment (skis, boots, poles, skins, knives), backpack 30l minimum, warm clothes, water and picnic, headlamp and silk sheet mandatory. Lunch, dinner and breakfast are included.
