To mark International Forest Week, the Parc du Queyras, the Office de tourisme du Guillestrois et du Queyras and the Office National des Forêts are pleased to invite you to a screening of Vincent Munier's film "Le chant des forêts".
After "La Panthère des neiges", Vincent Munier invites us to the heart of the Vosges forests. This is where he learned everything he needed to know from his father Michel, a naturalist who spent his life hunting in the woods. Now it's time for them to pass on this knowledge to Vincent's son Simon. Three viewpoints, three generations, the same fascination for wildlife. With them, we discover deer, rare birds, foxes and lynxes... and occasionally, the flapping wings of a legendary animal: the capercaillie.
The screening will be followed by a time for discussion and questions with local speakers on the subject of forests in general, and the Guillestrois and Queyras forests in particular, an exceptional and well-preserved heritage.
