  • Before heading off into the mountains, it's a good idea to learn how to use an avalanche transceiver. The Aiguilles avalanche beacon park is the perfect place to learn or perfect your avalanche beacon skills!

  • The DVA Park is freely accessible every day in the "mountain and safety" area of the Aiguilles resort.

    Every Wednesday, eco-guards from the Queyras Regional Nature Park organize an afternoon of introductory courses, with advice and hands-on practice. Registration is required for this introductory afternoon.

    Ideally, bring your own equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel).
    The eco-guards may have one or more avalanche transceivers on loan, but this cannot be guaranteed.
