Cirque de la Blanche, 05350 Saint-Véran
The Chapelle de Clausis, formerly known as the Chapelle de "Cloussis" or "Crousis", can be found shortly after the copper mine and marble quarry at St Véran. On 16 July, a procession travels there from St Véran to celebrate Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Nestled in the cirque de la Blanche, it is surrounded by iconic peaks (Pic de Chateaurenard, Pic de Caramantran, Rocca Bianca, Tête des Toilies...).

In summer, it can be reached on foot or by bike from St Véran. In winter, the La Blanche Nordic route passes nearby.
The Clausis shuttle bus (July/August only) is just a 45-minute walk away.
