This day will be devoted to discovering and learning about ski touring in the Queyras.
Together with your group, you'll learn how to be as careful as possible on the snow-covered slopes of the massif, and how to use ski touring equipment. Your guide will choose a wilderness route in search of virgin snow. A great day out with your guide, who will share with you the joys of ski touring in the Queyras.
Beginner, but able to ski on all types of snow, even slowly. Good physical condition.
Equipment to bring: 2 pairs of gloves (1 ski and 1 light), ski pants or waterproof/breathable pants with tights and several layers on top (T-shirt, fleece, gore tex, micro down jacket), sunglasses, ski mask, sun cream and compeed. 30-liter max backpack, 1.5-liter min water, picnic and snacks.
