Classic cross-country skiing, also known as alternative skiing, is practised with specific equipment. Similar to walking with gliding, it's the most natural and ideal way to start. My lessons will give you a good, lasting foundation.
Alternatif is the oldest technique: a walking-like step with gliding phases. The 2 skis remain parallel in the direction of travel, and this is the technique preferred by beginners because it's easier to learn than skating and also more natural.
