For this spring concert, three worlds, three ways of making music travel.
Trojka Nomad is three voices that take you far to the East, between Central Asia and the Slavic lands. Margot, Manon and Brunelle have gleaned bewitching melodies from their explorations and reinvented them with guitar, double bass and percussion. A nomadic, vibrant music that moves freely and is transformed by the voices.
With Sages comme des Sauvages, everything remains deliberately vague, and that's their strength. Ava Carrère and Ismaël have been cultivating the indefinable for ten years, between joyful sparkle and disarming depth. Their songs, as familiar as they are unpredictable, speak of everything and nothing with the same accuracy. On stage, the quartet distills a fresh energy, oscillating between joy, melancholy and total freedom.
Last but not least, Fulu Miziki Kolektiv make Kinshasa resound in an Afro-futuristic punk explosion. Their "Twerkanda", an incandescent blend of Afro disco-house and post-soukous, is born exclusively of instruments made from recycled objects. Masks, costumes and DIY sounds carry a powerful message of reinvention, ecological awareness and artistic liberation. A mutant, committed music, looking to a re-enchanted future.
