  • The trailhead is in Souliers, marked in red and white from the Cross (towards the Grand Rochebrune gîte, then left). It winds steeply upwards through the forest, then catches its breath in the mountain pastures. The sheep of the Péas sheepfold can be seen in the distance below. As the Grand Rochebrune encourages us, the trail progresses slowly towards the final ascent.
