Abries-Ristolas French Ski School

The Abriès-Ristolas ESF welcomes you to the ski areas of the three villages of Abriès, Aiguilles and Ristolas. The ESF reception chalet is at the Abriès resort.

From group to private lessons, from downhill skiing to snowboarding, from arrow to biathlon, the Abriès-Ristolas ESF offers you a wide range of activities during your stay.
Whatever your age or level, our instructors will help you discover or perfect your skiing with patience and passion.

A few special features:

Seated downhill skiing: For people with reduced mobility, the Abriès-Ristolas ESF has two ski chairs made available free of charge by Secours Catholique. These chairs must be accompanied by a qualified instructor.
Instructors have been trained to accompany all types of disability, so as to meet everyone's expectations as effectively as possible: physical, deaf, visually impaired, blind, hemiplegic, mentally handicapped, etc.

Baby skiers:
- For grown-ups who are still a little bit small".
What is a Bébé Skieur? Bébé Skieur is quite simply a specialized snow program for children aged 3 and over. The team of activity leaders organizes indoor and outdoor activities (skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing...) for your little ones. Aimed at children aged 3 to 4, Club Piou Piou's approach to skiing combines fun learning to glide with day-care (1h skiing +1h other activities).

- The right pace to ensure that downhill skiing remains a pleasure.
Piou-piou and his friends will accompany the 1st descents in the snow garden, a safe and free area for our pupils.

Biathlon:
- Would you like to compete with Martin Fourcade? Then this biathlon initiation is for you!
Using laser rifles, or bungee cords for younger skiers, our instructors will introduce you to this discipline combining endurance, technique and precision. Once you're equipped with skating skis, all you have to do is hit the bull's-eye!

Arrow with ESF Abriès-Ristolas :
- Ready to beat the clock? It's time to compete with your friends or instructor!
The flèche is an event made up of big turns, and you'll have to get close to the time of the opener to get the best possible medal.

Chamois with ESF Abriès-Ristolas:
- If you want to test your technique in short turns, the Chamois event is for you!
To link short turns in the boys' poles, the chamois requires a certain mastery of skiing. So if you've got what it takes, try your hand at the chamois d'or!

Children's lantern-lit descent:
- Night descent with electric lanterns, supervised by the ESF Abriès-Ristolas. As soon as the sun sets, we invite you to go down the Tempanel ski lift run (green run) at night, accompanied by our instructors and, above all, Piou-Piou.
