The Parc Naturel Régional du Queyras proposes a two-day outing dedicated to the Lanza salamander, an emblematic species of the Cottian Alps and a symbol of local biodiversity.
As part of the ALCTRA GE.CO (Gestion Ecologique des Conflits) Interreg project, this cross-border event will be a great opportunity to meet up in a convivial atmosphere, exchange ideas between French and Italian participants, and share our knowledge to better preserve Alpine biodiversity.
This species has very few representatives worldwide. It is only found around Mont Viso, in the Queyras and in Italy (Pinerolese and Val Sangone).
