How do I get there? There are several travel options available: by bus, train, car, plane or cab. You’ll find all the information you need here to choose what’s best for you. And if you’re worried about getting lost, we’ll be happy to guide you on your way! Just one number: 04 92 46 76 18.

From Marseille: last exit off the A51 freeway at Tallard. Then take the main road towards Briançon and stop in one of the Guillestrois villages, or continue towards the Queyras. Approx. 3h15, 255 km

From Grenoble: you have a choice, either choose Briançon via the Col du Lautaret, or Gap via the Col Bayard, then Embrun, Guillestre and the Queyras. Approx. 3h00, 155 km*.

From Paris: follow directions to reach Grenoble.

From Turin: cross the border at the Montgenèvre pass, then head to Briançon, Guillestre and the Queyras. Approx. 2 hrs 45 mins, 150 km*.

The Night Train from Paris…

…or the magic of falling asleep in the heart of the capital and waking up at the foot of the mountains. The Paris-Briançon night train runs all year round, departing from the Gare d’Austerlitz.

TER direct lines

Connections with TGV trains from Paris (Valence or Grenoble).

  • Line: Marseille <> Montdauphin-Guillestre <> Briançon
  • The line: Valence <> Montdauphin-Guillestre <> Briançon
  • The line: Grenoble <> Montdauphin-Guillestre <> Briançon

And to go from the station to your accommodation, there are “Zou” buses during school vacations, or cabs.

From the Mont-Dauphin - Guillestre train station

Organized by the “Région Sud Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur”, they serve many villages from SNCF stations in the Hautes-Alpes department. You can pay for your ticket on the bus by cash or cheque to the driver. Information and bookings by telephone at (+33) 0 809 400 013 PRM accessibility: vehicles accessible to people with reduced mobility, by reservation with “Zou”! at least 36 hours before departure.
