This monumental video mapping project brings the fortress back to life through a poetic creation developed in collaboration with local residents. An immersive spectacle where architecture, movement, and light become one.
FOR ALL AGES
When night falls on the fortress town of Mont-Dauphin, its walls come alive with light, images, and movement. Created by Creativ Light in partnership with the Mont-Dauphin Festival Committee and the Ascen-danse association, this video mapping show transforms the Porte de Briançon into a monumental stage where heritage, dance, and digital arts converge.
Inspired by the village’s residents, this original creation captures the spirit of the place through a visual and poetic narrative. The projections follow the architecture of the fortress, breathing new life into it through a blend of memory, emotion, and imagination. Two performances are scheduled at 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., each lasting approximately 22 minutes. A luminous journey accessible to all, delighting young and old alike in the heart of one of the most beautiful fortified sites in the Alps. Be sure to arrive a little early to fully enjoy the experience.
The access road leading into the fortress is closed to traffic from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Visitor parking is strongly recommended.
