The duo Pierre Bouyer and Nicole Tamestit present "MOZART DANS LE QUEYRAS Intégrale des Sonates pour violon & pianoforte". The Six Sonatas from Opus 1 are played this evening at the Eglise de Molines.
The works of Mozart and Beethoven are at the heart of their programs. On a fortepiano by Mozart's favorite maker, Johann Andreas STEIN, and a magnificent Italian violin from the early 18th century, Nicole Tamestit and Pierre Bouyer can offer all 19 Sonatas written by the composer for these two instruments, which he was the first in the history of music to bring together - as well as other pieces, sets of variations, or early sonatas conceived more for violin and harpsichord.
