Based on archives dating back to 1933, Sabine Weber invites you to discover the construction of the Hotel Beauregard, created in 1936.
This hotel, financed by families from the village, was part of the history and heritage of the village and the Queyras region.
She put together a "slide show" of letters, plans, press articles... focusing on 4 points: who were the Saint Vérannais behind this project? Why did they embark on such a project? How was Beauregard built, and what were the beginnings of tourism and the hotel industry in Saint-Véran?
Sabine hopes that this presentation will inspire old and not-so-old to share their memories and knowledge, as she is always on the lookout for testimonials and iconographic documents...
