Visitors are changing. They are seeking greater authenticity, a deeper understanding of the region, contact with nature, and meaningful experiences. In this context, mountain forests represent an exceptional heritage that remains largely untapped in the tourism sector.
How can we better tell the story of the forest? How can we help people discover its riches, its landscapes, its biodiversity, and the challenges it faces in the face of climate change? How can we come up with original activities that enrich your offerings and meet visitors’ emerging expectations?
To support you in this process, the Queyras Regional Nature Park and its partners are offering a training program that combines field excursions, meetings with experts, exchanges of experiences, and participatory workshops.
Over two immersive days in France and Italy, you’ll discover the diversity of the forests in the Terres Monviso region, their essential roles for our mountains, the changes currently underway, and the many opportunities they offer for developing sustainable, attractive tourism rooted in local characteristics.
Beyond the knowledge gained, this training program is an invitation to take a step back and reflect on our practices, to share insights among French and Italian professionals, and to imagine together the activities and stories that will shape the mountains of tomorrow.
