Description
Mont-Dauphin and Les Monuments Nationaux are hosting an exhibition featuring a mix of photographs, drawings, and sculptures, born out of the collaboration between Karim Ahmed Khan, a Pakistani artist from the Hunza Valley, and Boris Loz, an artist from the Hautes-Alpes.
This event, centered around an artist residency, aims to foster a dialogue between two mountainous regions facing the challenges of climate change through an exchange between two socially engaged artists, Karim Ahmed Khan from the Hunza Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, and Boris Loz in the Écrins Massif in the French Hautes-Alpes. The residency will take place from October 17 to November 17, 2026. It will conclude with an open-air exhibition and performance at the Mont-Dauphin heritage site between November 7 and 11, 2026. Performances by Boris Loz will take place at 3:00 p.m. on November 7, 8, and 11 in the courtyard of the arsenal.
