More than 35 km of downhill ski runs in an idyllic setting—sounds tempting, doesn't it? In winter, the chairlift takes you to the ski area in the heart of the larch forest, where you'll find four T-bar lifts to keep things interesting. Whether you prefer more leisurely runs on the blue runs, steep red runs, moguls, or ungroomed slopes (black and red), there’s something for every skill level and every taste! Try the red run at Valpréveyre—you won’t be disappointed by this north-facing slope, renowned for its snow and unspoiled natural beauty! For the more adventurous, head to the Brune ski lift, which takes you back to the Ruibon lift—and then it’s all yours for a run with nearly 1,000 meters of vertical drop! Pure bliss! You can also take it on foot for a snowshoe trail that leads you to the giant of snow and ice: the Viso! In the summer, whether on foot or by bike, the view of the Guil Valley from up there is breathtaking! The chairlift is accessible to everyone, including people with limited mobility, since it’s detachable! You can take it both up and down. You’ll find marked trails there, shared by hikers and mountain bikers. A trail accessible on foot leads to the Mont Viso viewpoint, where the orientation map will show you the names of the surrounding peaks. And why not enjoy a picnic at the tables set up nearby along a small stream? You’re sure to spot marmots frolicking as you make your way back down. The Ponsole Trail takes you gently back down through flower-filled woods, and via the GR 58, you’ll reach the village. And if you want to go higher, there’s just over 300 meters of elevation gain left to reach the Colette de Gilly at an altitude of 2,350 meters! You’ll arrive at the ridge trail, which offers unforgettable views. You can also head over to the Valpréveyre side, where nature remains unspoiled. And finally, for fans of downhill mountain biking and off-road scooters—whether beginners or experienced riders—there’s a Bike Park featuring four trails (green, blue, red, black) and a 470-meter elevation drop. The chairlift does not allow young children in baby carriers. The child must be independent (able to walk and sit up on their own) and tall enough to hold onto the safety bar by themselves. Dogs are prohibited on the chairlift, even when wearing a harness, by prefectural decree.
