This trail will be marked during the summer of 2026.
Starting along the banks of the Guil River, the imposing silhouette of Fort Queyras watches over your first few pedal strokes. You’re already heading toward the wooded slopes on a small road, then a forest trail. Very quickly, the terrain becomes wilder: larch trees become your companions on the climb. Gradually, the trail gives way to narrower paths: hairpin turns and rocky sections demand precision and commitment. The sense of isolation is heightened by the silence and raw beauty of the Queyras. The descent is gradual and rhythmic, making for a smooth and fun finish to the ride.
The route is open to the public year-round. It is accessible depending on weather and snow conditions. You must therefore bring appropriate gear.
