A scenic, wooded trail set against a backdrop of rocky ridges
Starting from La Chalp, you begin with a gradual warm-up in this open, sun-drenched valley, dominated by the rocky ridges of the Queyras. Then the climb becomes steeper and the terrain more varied, alternating between rocky sections and stretches through larch forests: the landscape opens up, giving way to sparser vegetation where a few alpine chalets nestle. The descent along the trail features a series of hairpin turns, technical sections, and rocky stretches that will delight experienced mountain bikers, culminating in a gentle finish.
The route is open year-round. It is rideable depending on weather and snow conditions. You must therefore be equipped accordingly.
