Splitboard : discovery in group outing

Ski, Ski hiking in Aiguilles
90 Adult
  • Splitboarding is snowboarding in the mountains!
It's the combination between skiing to go up and snowboarding to go down: no more snowshoes!

  • We leave the ski slopes to access an even larger area, and much wilder, often virgin. The track, the traces, it is us who will make them. The jumps (small or big), it is up to us to provoke them. The possibilities are infinite: the only limit is our imagination.

The Queyras is the perfect place to learn or improve splitboarding. Whether it is in a large field of virgin snow or slaloming in the magnificent larch forests, the sliding sensations will be incredible.

The Queyras is the perfect place to learn or improve splitboarding. Whether it is in a large field of virgin snow or slaloming in the magnificent larch forests, the sliding sensations will be incredible.

The group is composed only of snowboarders and limited to a maximum of 6 people to allow the guide to give personalized advice on splitboarding and snowboarding technique for those who wish.

The itinerary is 100% adapted for snowboarding: no long flat, no dense forest or endless crossing. We ride in the slope line.

You will be supervised by a high mountain guide, ski/snowboard instructor, who will have at heart to make you discover this magnificent region, as well as the potential of splitboarding.

Our goal will be to make you autonomous, and perhaps to share other outings together in other massifs.

We can help you to rent a splitboard in one of the different sports stores in the area.

Open to beginners in snowboarding (very good level of snowboarding on piste required) as well as to experts.

    What to bring:
Full touring snowboard equipment (splitboard, boots, telescopic poles, skins, knives), 30L backpack, warm clothes, water and sandwich. + details https://queyras-mountain-guides.com/liste-materiel-activite
We lend you avalanche rescue equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe).
