Description
Frequented for nearly 30 years by the guides of Queyras, the Roche Ecroulée is a climbing sector with both equipped passages and blocks without equipment.
Used as part of introductory courses by local guides, the tracks do not exceed 10m and it is generally possible to reach the relays by bypassing the blocks in order to install windmills. Some harder routes, mainly in the 5+ and 6, are nevertheless to be achieved. Some passages are marked (blue in 4 and 5, red in 6), while others are more recent openings.
The equipment for climbing the big rock has been renovated. This is a track in 6B+ on the left and a passage in 6C on the right.
The block circuit offers more demanding passes. Even though most of these do not exceed 3 meters in height, some receptions make the use of crash pads necessary.
