From May to mid-July, we're lucky enough to be able to descend this sublime river. Formed by the Gyr and Onde, it comes straight from the glaciers of the Ecrins mountain range, which you can see from the rafting and shuttle bus.
From Vallouise to l'Argentière la Bessée, the Gyronde flows continuously through forests and sporty rapids. A cookie and syrup break at the halfway point rewards you and gives you energy for the rest.
