Welcome to the Saint-Crépin town hall.
Saint Crépin is a commune of the Grand Briançonnais, in the former province of Dauphiné, and a member of the Guillestrois Queyras community of communes.
Situated to the west of the Queyras regional nature park, it borders the Pra Reboul torrent watershed, which rises on the western flanks of the Béal Traversier peak at 2910 m, and flows into the Durance.
A large but sparsely populated commune, the inhabited areas cover around 40 ha of a total surface area of over 4,600 ha.
The commune comprises more than twenty hamlets on either side of the Durance, which divides the commune into two sides: on the left bank are the hamlets of l'Adroit, des Grangettes, du Coulet, de Moissière, des Guions, du Villard, des Chapins, du Haut Villaron, du Bas Villaron, le Bourg, le Serre des Hodouls, les Hodouls, le Cros and le Guillermin.
On the right bank are Les Spreyts, les Eymards, les Ponces, les Césaris, les Achards, la Chapelle, les Pasques, le Serre de Chanteloube, l'Aéromotel and la Bourgea.
The heart of Saint-Crépin is a medieval village. It was built on a snail-shaped plan. The line of houses to the north forms the ramparts. Perched on a pink marble rock, Saint-Crépin overlooks the Durance valley between Embrun and Briançon.
Postal agency opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
