As a woodturner, I welcome you to my world, where Larch and Cembro Pine are king! Turned and/or carved, they are transformed into unique, handmade decorative objects, Made in Queyras, like so many original, lasting souvenirs!
At Bois d'Ylva, everything is small, except the love of wood and the joy of craftsmanship!
With La P'tite Galerie perched at an altitude of 2000m (the highest in Europe), I invite you to discover my creations (sorry, my 9m2 workshop is unfortunately not open to the public). Turned and carved, I mainly make decorative objects... but not only! Local woods are the stars, but there are also a few hardwoods picked up here and there. And of course, the cRAKŬ: an original creation of the workshop, these contemporary objects and sculptures in Pin cembro are fire-worked. Another way to explore Arolle, between tradition and modernity.
As far as awards are concerned, my cRAKŬ creation has earned me the title of Maître Artisane d'Art! The workshop has also been awarded the Valeurs Parc label by the Parc naturel du Queyras for its respect for nature and eco-responsible management. Last but not least, as a member of Ateliers d'Art de France, Le Bois d'Ylva is part of the "savoir-faire" and "artisanat d'art" movement.
