Big top - Abriès
8:30pm: SLIM PAUL
Slim Paul began his journey twenty years ago. A time spent with a guitar on his shoulder. First on the streets of Toulouse, then on the world's biggest stages (Pol' and 'Rock, SXSW, Sziget, Boomtown Fair, BMMF,...) with his Blues Hip Hop band, Scarecrow.
20 years in which Slim's bag has grown heavier, filled with stories, notes, chords, roads and encounters. Since 2013, having reached a crossroads, he's taken a path that leads him back to the music that has fascinated him since he was very young: the Blues, which will torture him along 3 solo EPS (Weep n Moan 1, Weep n Moan 2 and No Yet Man, available to listen to on Soundcloud).
After Scarecrow, he formed the Slim Paul Trio, with Jamo on drums and Manu Panier on bass, and embarked on a two-year tour of France, as well as dates in Canada, Portugal and Hungary.
He releases two albums; ("Dead Already", PIAS/2018, and "Good For You", REGARTS-OPR/2021), which, supported by several media including Rolling Stones France, FIP, NOVA, France Inter, France Bleu and WNYR New York, and over the course of his concerts, build an increasingly loyal following.
And when he's not rocking out with his trio, Slim Paul, his guitar and his bag sometimes take the train to the four corners of the country, to reconnect, alone on stage, with his early love. The Blues.
10:30pm: BALAPHONICS & MARY MAY
Afro Soul
The Brassband Francilien is ready to give you a taste of its Afro funk specialties, in a fusion as explosive in its ebergy as it is diverse in its moods.
The icing on the cake: Balaphonics is accompanied by the rising star of the French Afro-Soul scene, singer Mary May, who has integrated herself into the group while taking it into new, hitherto unexplored spheres.
00h: DJ EL PABUELITO
A DJ/producer from the Hautes-Alpes, El Pabuelito likes to mix genres, notably world music (Latin, Balkan, Afro-beat) with a touch of Electro, Hip-Hop or Dub.
