The Sainte-Marie-Madeleine chapel is located in La Font, one of the many hamlets in Eygliers. It was in 1521 that the first mass was celebrated in what was then called Notre Dame d'Eygliers.
This little chapel is surrounded by houses. A 17th century document tells the tale that an infant was abandoned at the foot of the chapel and then taken in.
