    The route starts from Le Coin, a hamlet perched on the adret, which still boasts a small chapel and beautiful fustes! Right from the start, a beautiful view of the Pain de Sucre, the Col Agnel and the Pic de Châteaurenard, as the trail gently rises to reach the famous Rouchas Frach canal, known for over seven centuries. This magnificent balcony trail simply follows the route of this canal, created to divert water from the Col Agnel and supply the Molines dwellings! At Riou du Pasquier, the old water intake has been restored. You can walk all or part of the way there and back, depending on your motivation and the time you wish to spend there. The work of Aggelos punctuates your journey with artistic stops (statues, triptychs, memorial steles).

    In spring and autumn, conditions are changeable, and even snow-free trails can be icy. As a result, the reflex in the mountains is to "go out well-equipped". In my bag, I slip or hang crampons and poles.

    In winter, the right reflexes are: snowshoes, poles, gloves, hat, sun cream and... a survival blanket! Experience is essential, and knowing when to give up is sometimes preferable to taking risks. And if you're new to the mountains, don't hesitate to call in a professional!
