August 10 is Saint Laurent's day, patron saint of the village of Arvieux!
Boules competition, fireworks, fair, refreshments. It's THE day to discover the legendary Arvidan sense of celebration and hospitality!
On the schedule:
8:30 a.m. Baking and sale of bread at the village communal oven
11:00 a.m. Mass at the church in Arvieux.
12:00 p.m. Aperitif hosted by the town in front of the community hall.
2:00 PM Fair with various booths: fishing game, string shooting, face painting, raffle, and other booths.
Around 5:00 PM: Egg toss
4:30 PM Registration for the Egg Toss Contest
5:30 PM Egg-throwing contest
Dance party: until 2h am
Fireworks : 22h
Throughout the day: refreshment stand and light snacks from various food trucks
